Known Issues
The toolset won't install
Bioware used InstallShield as their installer. InstallShield has never worked with wine. But it does work with WineX So you can download and install winex, and use it to install the beta. Then move the entire ~/.transgaming/c_drive/NeverwinterNights to ~/.wine/fake_windows. Another option is to boot into windows and install the toolset there. Then boot into linux and run it off your other partition. If either of these are not an option I have posted a link on the mailing list to a tar.gz (not the exe) of the NeverwinterNights directory that you can just put in ~/.wine/fake_windows and be good to go. Look through the archives and find it there.
I'm using XFree86 3.3.x and the toolset just hangs
wine, opengl and XFree86 3.3.x do not play well with each other, and the
official wine tree has dropped support for the 3.x line of XFree86.
The only option is to upgrade to XFree86 4.x.
Toolset does not start up
If you uncheck the box on the first dialog box so that it does not show up
every time the toolset won't start. So don't uncheck that box. If you do
simply remove nwtoolset.ini and all the settings will reset to the default.
Lots of crashes
